MAMIKO MOTTO (hepcat radio, nts / LT)
Born in Lithuania, Mamiko Motto moved to Antwerp where she started her self-made show HepCat Radio on Radio Centraal ­­– the show quickly became popular and remained so throughout it’s three years of airplay. In 2007, Mamiko started work at the Amsterdam based Kindred Spirits label where she was International Promotions Manager; while also playing regular radio shows on Lijn 5 and Radio 6 alongside regular club sets around the world.

2009 saw a return to London, and the re-launch of Hepcat Radio ­­– hand in hand with this saw a collaborative remix of Jimi Tenor’s ‘Paint The Stars’ with Hudson Mohawke, under the Wednesday Nite alias, for the Warp 20th Anniversary. Following this Mamiko was invited to go on tour as Hudson Mohawke’s support DJ. In between then and now, Mamiko worked heading up A&R at Nod Navigators, where she worked with the likes of Dorian Concept, The Blessings and Mweslee. The past year Mamiko has been working on her own music and working on Hepcat’s new home NTS, keep an eye out for an EP in the near future and hear the show every Wednesday from 8-9pm…
