G. Douglas Barrett’s work considers music as part of a critical arts practice in which performance and conceptuality figure as integral components. In 2009 Barrett received a DAAD research grant to Berlin; he is also the recipient of a 2012-13 Franklin Furnace Fund grant. Marit Tunestveit Dyre is currently a second year master student at Bergen Academy of Art and Design. The work she is presenting relates to how it can be perceived to be in social situation or setting, which might be uncomfortable for the others as well as you.

Cecilia Jonsson’s research resides in the tension between the living and the inanimate. Two binary oppositions, in which she searches for related or interconnected techniques, base materials and behavioural differences. Her intention is to signify how they can intersect and collaborate into audio-visual and spatial examinations. The results are often intricate constructions that negotiate the fertile ground between empirical research and artistic practice where art and technology meet environmental concerns. Cecilia Jonsson has an MA from Bergen Academy of Art and Design and as participant in the Nordic Sound Art MFA program.
