Since merging two art departments into one, at Bergen Academy of Art and Design, the staff of the former Subject Area Photography/fagfelt fotografi decided to organize a group exhibition at Rom 8.
The works may be either finished pieces or work in progress. The choice of the method and the medium, the selection of work is a free play, since the discourse with photographic medium is already there.
The aim of Lab1 is to introduce six members of the staff and their art works in form of an exhibition and a discussion. Lab1 brings the group once more together around one table to contemplate the past, present and future development.
