About The Dirty Art – A Celebration of Norwegian Street Art –
Norway is home to some of the world’s most influential artists; Born and raised in a community that nourishes art and artists as well as artistic expression, diversity and compassion. And by offering some of the world’s most exceptional grant to artist funds in the world Norwegian street art should be top in the world – and it is. But not through any type of government assistance (with Norway’s strict ‘no tolerance’ policy on graffiti) or public support, but rather through a tight
knit group of passionate artists who have learned over the years creative ways to express themselves despite harsh penalties and societal pressures.
In this show we are pleased to host over 9 murals / pieces from some of Norway’s best street artists, not a single wall will be left blank to fully encompass the audience in the beautiful craft that is street art. Dot Dot Dot, who was recently featured on the cover of VG, exhibits one of his newest pieces along side other amazing Norwegian based artists such as Martin Whatson, Stein, Arnt Ove, Tone Emblemsvåg , Martin Mauseth Hvattum, 52Hz and more.
As well as having an display based exhibitions, we will also be selling prints and merchandise from the artist’s themselves for purchase by the general public.

About blankspace –
blankspace is an artist run facility that strives to fill the gaps present in the art world today, from artist to buyer as well as artwork to audience. They strive to open back up the transference of ideas from outsiders and strike down the exclusivity of art. While currently functioning primarily as a gallery that focuses on contemporary applications of traditional skills, they also offer workshops and classes to anyone, beginner or master, wanting to understand the craft better. In the future, they hope to expand to offer a full printing / painting studio to the public, as well as offer full-time courses in various fields of art. They will host discussions, lectures, and special exhibits from special artists across the world.

They are located 5 minutes from Oslo S by bus, in the up and coming district of Kværnerbyen.
