Kino Euphoria – night of international short films

[Bilde]

Come and see new shorts films that are made in a different way.
Making good films doesn’t need to be expensive and slow. More and more young filmmakers around Europe have been getting excited about the “Kino Movement” that origins in Montreal, Canada. “Kino” groups are rapidly multiplying around the world, and there’s already over 50 groups organising international events, where filmmakers gather to create short films in one week of just a few days. The group spirit is strong, and the films are usually a bit weird.
One of these groups is “Kino Euphoria” in Helsinki. Finnish filmmaker Hannaleena Hauru and finnish artist Tuulia Kallio from the group will be presenting 20 short film pearls (intermission included) made in 2010-2013 during the international collaborations by “Kino Euphoria”. You’ll be seeing horror, cute animals, half naked girls and boys – and a lot more.
