Candyland
CANDYLAND är ett utställningsrum i Stockholm som öppnade i februari 2004. Det drivs av tio personer som turas om att producera utställningar: Malou Bergman, Alvaro Campo, Nadja Ekman, Mattias Larson, Tess Oweson, Alex Pacheco, Jean Ploteau, Andreas Ribbung, Johanna Ringertz och Johan von Schreeb.
«Candyland is an independent non-profit art space run by ten individuals who take turns in producing exhibitions. The rent and production costs are shared by its members. So far, Candyland has arranged about 50 different shows accompanied by gigs, performances, workshops, screenings etc over a period of three years. This has resulted in a wide variety of projects, often experimental and informal in their presentation, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Recently Candyland has opened Hammarby ArtPort (HAP) in an industrial building just south of the City Centre. HAP is a self-financing enterprise which produces exhibitions. These are realised through the input of its members acting as art consultants on various projects. It is expected that four or five major exibitions shall be staged each year.
